Terms of Service

By accessing and using Cheddah Store Credits ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Beta Program

Cheddah Store Credits is currently in beta testing. By participating, you understand that:

  • The Service may contain bugs or incomplete features
  • Features may change or be removed without notice
  • We may reset or modify data during the beta period
  • No service level agreements (SLAs) are in effect during beta

3. Description of Service

Cheddah provides tools for Shopify merchants to:

  • Manage store credit balances
  • Upload credits in bulk via CSV
  • Track credit redemptions and usage
  • Automate credit distributions
  • Generate analytics and reports

4. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Have a valid Shopify store
  • Be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction

You are responsible for all activities under your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Upload malicious code or viruses
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Abuse or harass other users or our staff

6. Data and Privacy

  • You retain ownership of your customer data

8. Payment and Billing

  • Beta access is currently free
  • We will notify you before implementing any paid plans
  • Beta users will receive special pricing and grandfather clauses
  • Prices and plans are subject to change with notice

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you:

  • Violate these Terms of Service
  • Provide false information
  • Engage in fraudulent activity
  • Fail to pay (once billing begins)

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free service
  • Specific results or outcomes
  • Compatibility with all systems
  • Data accuracy or completeness

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Damages exceeding the amount you paid us in the past 12 months
